The River Bridge Tower along the Milwaukee Riverwalk in downtown. The Riverwalk is a 20-block pedestrian promenade along the Milwaukee River. There are two skybridges visible in this photo, part of the Milwaukee Skywalk System, affectionately referred to as "Skywaukee". Downtown is peppered with nine such skybridges spanning a skywalk of 1.75 miles (2.8 km), which encourages pedestrian traffic throughout the downtown area during the winter's heavy weather.

In Milwaukee County's Atwater Park stands a sculpture by Jaume Plensa titled Spillover II (II because it was removed for a period in 2016, being accused of anti-semitic words on the sculpture. The artist claimed the artwork was intended as the opposite of anti-semitism. Regardless, the offending words were removed and the sculpture reinstalled with a II added to its name). The sculpture is lit at night and looks out over Lake Michigan.
